WOW! What to say? What to say!
I have not posted anything in a very long while but I was just reading a couple post on planet.meetlinux.com and well here I am.
Elizabeth, I always enjoy reading your posts :)
Zoe's Mom, beautiful babies :)
So what have I been up to? Well honestly not much of anything. I am back in Montreal, Canada. been about 6 months now. ( Any Ubunteros here??? )
I have spent A LOT of time online not doing much of anything but it seems to be wearing me down now. Today I thought to myself maybe I should find a LUG or something and keep myself busy. I haven't been able to find any work and I am starting to get some serious cabin fever.
About that LUG thing, would be real cool if I could get in touch with Ubuntu group here in Montreal. I know of one person who is in Montreal but I have been out of #ubuntu for a long while now and don't want to seem like a leech and go ask " Hey, will you be my friend? "
I haven't been using Ubuntu since I came Back to Montreal because for one I am not using "my computer" and also I require the use of a certain application that just does not want to cooperate with me except in Windows.
I do have access to an old compaq and been thinking about installing Ubuntu/Xubuntu on it and setting up a web server for personal use. I have had a couple of friends ask me to help them with some small sites that would be for private use/limited number of visitors. So I might give that a go.
So anyway if anybody in the Montreal area knows about any fun Ubuntu/Linux events going on. let me know :)

I bumped into a Montreal Ubuntu fellow this evening and thought of you! He suggested you drop by #ubuntu-qc and say you're in town and interested in meetup/whatever :)
You hit que quiet time of the year... everyone is out getting some sun light / heat while it lasts.
Otherwise come hang out in #ubuntu-qc on IRC. Or come by St-Elizabeth Pub tomorrow night around 7PM for Debian Beer, a bunch of ubuntero/as will be there too :)
